Horizons is a competency-based employee development program with main focus on the first five years of the employee’s career to effectively develop the necessary skills for professional growth and development.

This program is designed for recent graduates or professionals with under 5 years of work experience in the following fields:

  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Drilling & Completions Engineering
  • Facilities Engineering
  • Earth Science

Available positions:

  1. Horizons Petroleum Engineer

    Qualifications
    • Fourth-year undergraduate or final-year master’s students in Petroleum Engineering, or those with 0-5 years of work experience in related fields
    • Good academic record
    • Good English communication skills
    • Innovative and collaborative 
  2. Horizons Drilling/Completions Engineer

    Qualifications
    • Fourth-year undergraduate or final-year master’s students in Metallurgical, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering, or those with 0-5 years of work experience in related fields
    • Good academic record
    • Good English communication skills
    • Innovative and collaborative
  3. Horizons Facilities Engineer

    Qualifications
    • Fourth-year undergraduate or final-year master’s students in Metallurgical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or those with 0-5 years  of work experience in related fields
    • Good English communication skills
    • Good academic record
    • Innovative and collaborative
  4. Horizons Earth Scientist

    Qualifications
    • Fourth-year undergraduate or final-year master's students in Geology, or those with 0-5 years of work experience in related fields
    • Good English communication skills
    • Good academic record
    • Innovative and collaborative
