Chevron, Kasetsart University and the Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN) join hands in hosting a knowledge-sharing forum and showcasing the achievements of the “Strengthening One Health Education in Southeast Asia” project in celebration of International One Health Day 2025. The initiative aims to enhance One Health knowledge among students, educators, and public health professionals to help prepare for emerging health challenges. The event was attended by (from left): Asst. Prof. Dr. Ouaypon Tungthongchai, Principal Investigator of the One Health Project, Kasetsart University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Khongsak Thiangtum, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Lifelong Learning at Kasetsart University; Ms. Pornsuree Konanta, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd.; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang, Chair of the Foundation Board of SEAOHUN; Asst. Prof. Ratchot Chompunich, Vice President for Student Affairs and Sustainable Development at Kasetsart University; and Dr. Tongkorn Meeyam, Executive Director of SEAOHUN; along with representatives from the World Health Organization, government and academic institutions, and implementing partners from Thailand and abroad — with more than 300 participants convening on November 3, 2025 at the Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.

The One Health approach centers on strengthening cross-sector, multidisciplinary collaboration, and integrating knowledge that connects human, animal, and environmental health to support holistic well-being. This year’s event was organized under the theme “Driving One Health Education in Schools and Sharing Knowledge for a Healthier Future,” emphasizing shared learning and the successful integration of the One Health approach into school and university curricula. It also provided a platform for partners to share their experiences and innovative learning models.
