This charity run is the first education fundraiser by the Saturday School Foundation. Over the past 9 years, the foundation has dedicated itself to the development of extracurricular activities that provide opportunities and space for participating students and volunteers alike to learn new things. The effort is driven by the belief that everyone in the society can become part of what changes education for the better. To date, there are over 3,831 volunteers and 9,451 students participating in a variety of programs. The foundation’s objectives are in line with Chevron’s commitment as a global energy company that believes in the power of human energy. To contribute to the advancement of educational development in Thailand, Chevron has been collaborating with Saturday School Foundation on various initiatives, the latest of which are the After School Program, an opportunity for Chevron personnel to participate as volunteer teachers; and 1.5 million baht of funding for Saturday School Run 2023.

Races are divided by distance into 3 km. and 10.5 km. categories. Students affiliated with the Saturday School Foundation showcase their curriculum-shaped potential through stage performances. The event is also a platform through which the public and private sectors come together to strengthen the network of volunteers. The fund raised by the event will be donated to the Saturday School Foundation without deduction of expenses, for the development of extracurricular activities for children. In addition to fostering opportunities for contributing to educational development, Chevron actively promotes enhanced physical well-being among its employees and the broader Thai community.
