In support of the education of the youth, who will shape the future of the country, Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. and its partners have donated 200 computer notebooks to Thai Niyom Songkro School—a pilot school under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s (BMA) Digital Classroom program. At the handover ceremony, Pornsuree Konanta, Chevron’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs, presented the computer notebooks to Saithong Treesattayakul, Director of Thai Niyom Songkro School. Anchana Boonsuya, Director of Bang Khen District Office, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by executives from Bang Khen District Office, as well as the faculty members and students at the school.

This donation is a collaboration between Chevron and its partners, namely Mitsui Oil Exploration Co., Ltd. (MOECO), PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), and Palang Sophon Company Limited, with the aim of supporting the education of youth by fostering inspiration, enhancing engagement, and equipping them with crucial digital skills for both the present and the future. Chevron has donated 200 used computer notebooks with chargers that meet the qualifications of the Digital Classroom program. This initiative will contribute to supporting the BMA's and the program's vision to establish the school as a pilot institution for creating a digital classroom using Active-Based Learning Methods. If you are interested in contributing by donating your personal or corporate computers to support the program, please find more information on the Digital Classroom website.
