Recently, Group of Chevron companies in Thailand, consisting of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Limited and Chevron (Thailand) Limited (the marketer of the Caltex brand), were awarded the “Platinum Level” Corporate Social Impact Excellence Award for the 14th consecutive year from the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) during 2023 award ceremony held at InterContinental Bangkok. H.E. Mr. Robert F. The Corporate Social Impact Excellence Recognition award ceremony is organized every year by the AMCHAM to honor members who lead by example in conducting business while actively engaging in corporate social responsibility practices. For the first time ever this year, the selection incorporates the significance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects of business performance. It also addresses the comparability of metrics that demonstrate the companies’ contribution to sustainability and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Chevron’s 14th consecutive win of the Award reiterated its sustained commitment as a leading global energy company that aims to strengthen and enhance the quality of life in Thailand's society under its long-standing 4E’s corporate responsibility framework which consists of Education, Environment and Energy Conservation, Economic Development, and Employee Engagement. The company has implemented over a hundred of impactful corporate responsibility projects initiatives throughout the business operations in Thailand.
