Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd., has recently appointed Chatit Huayhongtong, Operations General Manager, as President, effective May 1, 2021, following Pairoj Kaweeyanun’s retirement.
Chatit’s distinguished career with Chevron spans over 19 years. He joined Chevron in 2002 as a petroleum engineer and has held numerous technical and management positions in Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States of America within his Chevron career. Chatit received both his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Chulalongkorn University.
Chatit said that “Chevron Thailand will continue our commitment to support Thailand’s energy security, including the safe transfer of Erawan, with our skilled workforce, technology and world-class safety and environmental standard as well as to forge strong partnerships with local communities – the mission we have carried out for over five decades. We will continue to seek new investment opportunities to respond to the energy needs of the country in the future to deliver on our long-term commitment to provide safe, reliable and ever cleaner energy to the country.”
