Bangkok, April 24, 2020 - A top priority for Chevron Thailand is to keep our workers, families and communities safe. As Thailand is reeling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chevron has made a series of contributions to support those struggling with its impact.


To help frontline medical staff and communities address the COVID-19 public health crisis, Chevron Thailand has provided medical supplies worth 4,277,073 baht to 33 hospitals and government agencies in provinces across Thailand such as Bangkok, Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phuket, Chonburi and Yala. These much-needed supplies include N88 masks, coverall Tyvek suits, air purifying respirators, infrared thermometers, face shields and alcohol hand gels.


Together with 4 charitable organizations under the Chevron Humankind program namely the Thai Red Cross, Siriraj Foundation, Ramathibodi Foundation and Songklanagarind Hospital Foundation, Chevron employees have donated over 1.6 million baht to strengthen the country’s COVID-19 response. The company has tripled the employee contributions, bringing the total amount to over 5 million baht.


As the COVID-19 crisis evolves, Chevron is committed to continuing to provide assistance to ease hardship faced by communities in areas where we operate and beyond.
